Birds
This link is for an excel file containing eBird datasets collected at Redlair.
eBird is an online application created by the Cornell University Ornithology lab that is the standard way most birders record their observations. The basic data points that are gathered are location, date, time, distance traveled, duration of observation time, number of people in group and type of observation (traveling, stationary, incidental) then a list of species and the number observed. You can add details (sex, age, breeding codes) in addition to media files but that is the basics.
